Contract pollination is when a farmer pays a beekeeper to put bees out in his crops. The beekeeper normally charges for this service. The bees go out to a prearranged place just before the pollination season and the beekeeper takes them away afterwards.
My example form is from California. They like to put one or two hives to every acre. The charge of course is up to the grower and the farmer but typically it was $7-$8 a frame with a cap of $70 or sometimes $60-$70 a hive. Half the total is paid when the bees arrive and the other half within a prearranged time.
Of course this is just an example. You make your own deal. I'm told in california each hive can pollinate 4 times a year. That's almost $300 extra per hive per year... and you keep the honey. Of course the trade off is that you have to move your hives and that is no small amout of work.
I saved the file in three different formats, one is the traditional Microft Word, the other is from Word 2007 and the last a PDF which you can't change but you can print.
